By limiting the player to only part of their moveset at any given time, or providing tradeoffs between different abilities, designers can create a versatile player character while encouraging players to focus on different abilities at different times. In our game, players can only move or crouch, which means that the player can’t move while in the box form. This makes the game challenging and player needs to focus on when to move and when to crouch when travel through the detection zone.
